What To Expect

• All people requiring physiotherapy will require an initial assessment this includes an assessment of your physical function along with other factors that may be relevant to your treatment programme, this may include a review of your past medical and social history.

• You will be required to consent to each of your physiotherapy sessions, we can also include conversations with your family, friends and carers, however we will require your consent to do so.

• A personalised physiotherapy home treatment plan tailored to your own individual needs.

• Follow- up visits arranged at a frequency that supports your rehabilitation goals at a time that suits you.

• A comprehensive discharge summary following completion of your rehabilitation programme which can be shared with your GP with your consent. 

  Initial Assessments

• Initial assessments will be required to obtain all information on our first visit.

• Usually initial assessments will take approximately 45-60mins and will capture your goals and expectations of your treatment plan.

• You will be issued with a home exercise programme following your initial assessment, however often this may change as you progress through your rehabilitation programme.

• Sometimes it may not be possible to make further progress, however our trained physiotherapist will use the SMART approach to ensure that all goals are : Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timed.  

• Where it is felt that further progress is not possible this will be discussed with you and may instead be tailored to maintain your current abilities for as long as possible

  Fees

Our fees are broken into three different programmes:

In-person / face to face - where you will be visited in the place you call home by our physiotherapist.

Remote  - Where you will have your visit undertaken online / via the telephone.

Blended  -  Here you can have a mixture of both in-person and remote visits.

We also offer packages where you can buy up-front a number of visits. 

All fees are required to be paid before your visit with the physiotherapist.

Travel - If you live within 10 miles of Canterbury the cost of travel is included within the prices below, an additional £15 supplement will be added for those living 10-15miles of Canterbury. Please get in touch if you live further than 15miles to discuss additional fees.

All fees are required to be paid by Bank Transfer before your visit with the physiotherapist.

We require 24hrs notice for cancellation of visits, less than 24hours will result in a full charge of the appointment for both in-person and remote sessions.

Face to face:

Home visit assessment + treatment plan = £115

Follow up visit up to 45mins = £90

Remote

Assessment and treatment Plan = £80

Follow up session up  to 45min = £60

Packages

Face to face:

Face to face assessment and 3 follow up sessions = £350

Face to face assessment and 5 sessions = £520 

Remote :

Fully Remote Assessment and 3 remote follow up sessions = £240

Fully remote assessment and 5 follow up sessions = £350

Blended:

1 face to face assessment and  2 remote follow up sessions = £300

Additional fees will apply for professional liaison including phone calls with clients, representatives or other representatives are charged from £90
